Sponsorship

The purpose and objective of the Sponsorship Program is to provide basic living essential, physical, social and spiritual care to orphaned and vulnerable children. Our children are OVCs of school going age up to 13 years of age as this enables our social workers be able to journey with the child, guardian and the community around this child.

Kusitawi Village Children's Home

This is where we have safe houses for our boys and girls who are in need of protection from various abuses during their growth.  Watoto Wenye Nguvu Kusitawi Village has approximately 96 children residing where they are assisted to heal physically and emotionally.

School Feeding Programs

This is a program that benefits nine schools with thousands of school going children around Kilimambogo where most of the sponsored children attend. We make sure children have at least one meal per day to improve on their Health, Attendance and concentration in class which has greatly improved on their school results and this helps the children to aim higher in the future and improve their social situation.

Secondary School Education

Secondary school education level is very vital as it instills much needed skills and knowledge to children as they approach their careers.  Watoto Wenye Nguvu I.O.C having its passion of empowerment through education constructed a secondary school equipped the classroom, laboratory and of late we have the state of the art all inclusive home science lab that will be offering carpentry, masonry, welding and tailoring to students and the community around.

Micro Loans Programs

This empowers the guardians who already have business to access credit with no collateral and at a very low interest. The interest earned also goes back to the guardians in form of training which is done quarterly. This program started in the month of March 2011 through a grant from one of our partners GNU foundation.

This is a program which was started to offer career guidance that facilitates the acquisition of attitudes, skills and knowledge to help students better understand themselves, explore viable education and career options, make informed decisions and develop plans to achieve their career aspirations.
